Lower North Island Four Squares and VSA, a successful partnership since 2004

Earlier this month our Communication and Fundraising Assistant, Nicholas Latty, paid a visit to Grant Irwin, owner of Moturoa Bulk Foods Four Square in New Plymouth.

Grant is a huge supporter of VSA's Project Friendship and one of the many Kiwis who see value in supporting our volunteers working in developing countries. As a businessman he feels businesses should not be just about profit but also about community support. He says supporting VSA is a "good fit" for Four Square, which is an iconic and trusted Kiwi brand.

When asked about the bracelets and the message they send, Grant added that they are not only "cool to wear" but they also remind us of those living on less in other countries, and that we all can play our part in a small way.

We would like to thank Four Square stores for their support, loyalty and commitment to sending Kiwis to volunteer and share their skills with communities striving for positive change.
