Our Luckiest Lotto Store

A Martinborough couple are among the latest Lotto multi-millionaires after they struck a $2.5 million Powerball and a $333,333 first division prize at the weekend.
The couple bought their winning tickets at Pain and Kershaw Four
Square in Martinborough. The South Wairarapa winning streak
continued with Pain and Kershaw defying probability by also selling
the Winning Wheel ticket.
"This hasn't happened before, and it's such a statistically
unlikely occurrence that a winning Lotto Powerball ticket would be
sold in the same store as a winning Winning Wheel serial-numbered
ticket that we're all quite astounded by the coincidence," NZ
Lotteries chief executive Todd McLeay said.
But the luck doesn't stop there, a regular Pain & Kershaw
customer; Aloela Davies, took out the top prize in this year's Four
Square Birthday promotion - a $6,000 Air NZ Holiday Gift Card.
