Wasabi Salmon

Ingredients

  • 500g salmon fillet - skin on
  • Soy Sauce - good quality
  • Wasabi paste

Instructions

  1. Using a good quality soy sauce (I use Yamasa) mix together soy sauce and wasabi to make a pungent mix. Soy sauce should turn quite pale and it should be very hot to taste.
  2. Place salmon in a square of tinfoil.
  3. Cover in soy mixture - I brush all the edges to make sure everything gets marinated.
  4. Can be left to marinate if desired. Flavour enhances the longer it marinates.
  5. Place on BBQ for 15 - 20 minutes until cooked to your liking. Alternatively place in a preheated oven at 210 deg celcius and bake for 12 - 15 minutes.
