Four Square Mount Maunganui will also serve Gravity barista-made coffee, Deadwood Deli sandwiches, ice creams and other Kiwi favourites such as meat pies, hot chicken and chips, as well as grab-and-go meal option.
The 474 sqm store is one of the larger format Four Square stores and will stock over 4,000 products spread across five aisles. It also has five self-checkouts and three team member operated checkouts, with 37 shared car parks located behind the store, creating 15 new jobs for the community.
Sasa says they’ve already spoken with a lot of the local community and other business owners who are looking forward to a supermarket opening within walking distance.
“We’ve been looking forward to open day for the last few weeks and have family and friends who have come to visit, so it’s a really exciting time for us and we’re looking forward to meeting more of the community and encourage them to come in and say hello,” he says.
