What do the icons on your storefront mean to your store?

Sun Tasman has an amazing climate, with some of the highest sunshine hours in the country. Coupled with beautiful beaches and mild winters, it’s a fantastic place to enjoy the outdoors.

Yacht Port Mapua was once a hub of industry for transporting local agricultural produce. Today, it’s a beautiful spot to enjoy local markets, cafés, and of course the sea, with the stunning Waimea Inlet providing access to Tasman Bay.

Bike Mapua is part of the Tasman Taste Trail, which is extremely popular with cyclists. Mapua is the perfect place to rest and refuel along the journey.

What’s something unique about your store?

Four Square Mapua has an amazing selection of local Tasman wines and craft beers. Our team goes above and beyond to source, connect with, and range local products, ensuring we can offer the very best from local producers in our modern, new Generation store.

What’s one way your store connects with the local community?

At Four Square Mapua, we love our community. We support local schools, bowling, cricket, tennis, golf, and rugby clubs, as well as local firefighters and Sea Scouts. We feel extremely lucky to be part of such a wonderful community here in Mapua.

What’s the top snack or meal people grab on the go from your store?

We have a great range of hot pies, delicious in-store made sandwiches and rolls, and plenty of sweet treats — including freezers full of tasty ice creams to cool down after a great day at the beach.

What’s the most ‘local’ product in your store?

It’s hard to choose just one. We stock Seifried wines from just across the inlet, Mapua Smokehouse fish that started only a few hundred metres down the road, Appleby Ice Cream, Motueka Creamery Ice Cream, Thorvald Cheese, Pic’s Peanut Butter, Moutere Strawberries, and Maisey’s Road Hydroponics. There are simply too many wonderful local products to pick just one.

If you’re visiting our store for the first time, you’ll be pleasantly surprised. Our range is extensive, and you’ll find everything you need — and then some.
