Supporting the Coopers Beach Community.

Together we’re supporting local community groups. Get one Thumbs Up token for every $50 spent in‑store and help decide where the support goes. Each month, the group with the most tokens receives a $2,000 donation to support their mahi.

Four Square Coopers Beach Here 4 Community Initiative   

1. The Promoter of this Here 4 Community promotion (Promotion) is Doubtless Bay Trading Limited (Four Square Coopers Beach).
2. Participation in the Promotion is deemed acceptance of these and any other applicable terms and conditions. 
3. The Promotion runs from 04 May 2026 - 30 September 2026 (Promotion Period).
4. This Promotion is running at Four Square Coopers Beach only.  
5. Customers will receive one ‘Thumbs Up’ token for every $50 spent in one transaction (excluding spend on Gift Cards, phone top ups, tobacco products, vape products, Prezzy Cards, Bonfire Cards and New Zealand lotteries tickets) during the Promotion Period instore at Four Square Coopers Beach. This Promotion is instore only and any purchases made through Four Square NOW! are not eligible. 
6. The number of tokens you receive is determined by the number of eligible purchases made. For example, if you spend $100 in one eligible purchase you will receive two tokens and so on.  
7. Customers can use their token instore during the same visit to vote for their favourite Eligible Community Group. 
8. Four Square Coopers Beach will donate a total of $10,000 to Eligible Community Groups as part of this Promotion across the entire Promotion Period. At the end of each calendar month during the Promotion Period (each a Voting Period), the Eligible Community Group with the highest number of votes at the end of the Voting Period will be eligible to receive a $2,000 donation from Four Square Coopers Beach to the winning community group’s nominated bank account. 
9. There is a total of 5 Voting Periods during the Promotion Period. Four Square Coopers Beach will select a total of three local community groups that customers can use their tokens to vote for during each Voting Period. Four Square Coopers Beach will display the Eligible Community Groups instore during each Voting Period. 
10. Eligible Community Groups are local community groups, schools, sports clubs or charitable organisations based in or primarily serving the Coopers Beach and wider Doubtless Bay area, selected at the sole discretion of Four Square Coopers Beach. Eligible Community Groups may be carried over into subsequent Voting Periods at the Promoter’s discretion.
11. Tokens must be used instore during the same visit and must not be removed from the store. Tokens remain the property of Four Square Coopers Beach at all times and cannot be sold, traded, transferred or exchanged. Once a token is placed as a vote it cannot be retrieved or moved. Tokens have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for goods, services or refunds. Damaged, defaced or tampered tokens may be refused at the discretion of Four Square Coopers Beach, and lost tokens will not be replaced.
12. Four Square Coopers Beach will contact each Eligible Community Group that receives the most votes during a Voting Period within 5 working days of the end of the Voting Period. If a winner cannot be contacted within 5 working days of first contacting them, or if the community group declines the donation, the donation will be forfeited and the Eligible Community Group with the next highest number of votes during the relevant Voting Period will be offered the donation on the same terms and conditions. 
13. The Promoter’s decision and the voting results are final and not subject to appeal.
14. The Promoter reserves the right to modify, suspend or terminate this Promotion at any time. 
15. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the use of tokens and if a customer attempts to use a token in a manner which, in the Promoters’ opinion, is contrary to these terms or is fraudulent, misleading or unjust the use of that customer’s token may be rejected at the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion.
16. Subject to any applicable laws which cannot be excluded, the Promoter, Foodstuffs North Island Limited, their respective employees and agents will not be liable for any loss, damage or injury of any nature incurred or suffered by any person (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss or loss arising from negligence) arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with this Promotion or with winning, redeeming or benefiting from the donation. 
17. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of their rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
18. In the event of a dispute concerning any aspect of the Promotion including eligibility the decision of the Promoter will be final.  No correspondence concerning any decision made by the Promoter will be entered into.
19. Any personal information collected from winning Eligible Community Groups (including contact and bank details) will be used solely for the purpose of administering the donation and will be handled in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020.
20. Winning Eligible Community Groups consent to Four Square Coopers Beach using their name, image and likeness (including photographs of the donation handover) for promotional purposes across instore, digital and social media channels without further compensation.
21. The donation is made gross. Any tax obligations arising from receipt of the donation are the sole responsibility of the receiving Eligible Community Group.
22. Employees of the Promoter and any agency involved with this promotion, and the immediate families of such employees, are not eligible to enter.
