Promotion Terms & Conditions

Promoter

1. Foodstuffs South Island Limited (FSSI) is the Promoter of this prize draw. The prize draw is being run digitally across the Facebook platform.

Promotion Period

2. The prize draw entry period will commence on 15th December 2025, ending at midnight on the 4th January 2026.

Method of Entry

3. To enter the Promotion, participants will submit a “comment” related to the FSSI Facebook advertisement and a winner will be randomly selected by Patrick O’Rourke (Regional Key Account Manager) or an alternative FSSI employee with a similar level of seniority equivalent after the Promotion Period.

Prize

4. The winner will be selected on Monday 8TH January 2025.

5. Prize is for one (1) Weber Q1000N Baby Q Gas Barbecue with an RRP of $449.

6. Prizes are not transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash or any other incentives.

7. The winner will be notified via phone at the number provided in the entry. If a winner cannot be contacted within 48 Hours of the draw, the prize will be forfeited, and another winner drawn from eligible entries.

8. The prize winner will be a person who complies with these terms and conditions and has completed an entry with all required details including the required “comment” to enter the promotion

Conditions

9. The decisions and the draw results are final, and not subject to appeal.

10. Foodstuffs reserves the right to modify, suspend or terminate this prize draw at any time.

11. The Promoter may amend these terms and conditions at any time and wherever possible such amended terms and conditions will be displayed at Four Square stores or online at www.foursquare.co.nz

12. To the extent permitted by law, participants waive all claims they may have otherwise had against Foodstuffs or Four Square Supermarket stores in relation to this prize draw. Neither Foodstuffs nor any Four Square Supermarket store nor any other person or party associated with running this competition shall be liable for:

• (a) Any loss or damage whatsoever incurred (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss and including loss caused by negligence) or personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with either participation in this competition or the use or acceptance of any prize offered except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law;
• (b) Any lost or misdirected entries or any errors resulting from computer hardware, software or telecommunications errors or failure;
• (c) Fraudulent entry into or participation in this competition.

13. Only one person who enters the prize draw may win the prize.

Eligibility

14. Foodstuffs reserves the right to require that all winners provide proof of identity including their address and place of employment) and to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entry or refuse to award a prize where false or misleading details have been given by an entrant or an entrant has behaved in a fraudulent or dishonest manner or otherwise than in accordance with these terms and conditions. Foodstuffs’ decision as to eligibility will be final.

15. To be eligible to receive a prize, a winner must:

• (a) not be a person who is excluded from the promotion under these terms and conditions; and
• (b) comply with these terms and conditions; and
• (c) consent to Foodstuffs’ use of their name and image for publicity and promotional purposes and make him or herself available for publicity photographs
• (d) not have submitted an entry from a spam Facebook account.
• (e) not be a Member and/or Staff of the Four Square Group and/or FSSI, or associated family residing at the same residence
• (f) be a New Zealand resident and 18 years of age or older.

Privacy and Contact

16. Any personal information collected from participants will be dealt with in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020 and these terms and conditions. Under the Privacy Act, you have the right to access and correct any personal information held by Foodstuffs.
